Galvanised joist hangers with location tab for easier alignment of the hanger. "Speed prongs" hold the hanger in place for easy attachment, the installer doesn't have to hold hanger, joist & nail in one hand and hammer in the other!
The wider strap provides more surface area on the supporting timber and allows increased nail spacing, enhancing the performance of the critical hanger-to-support part of the connection.
Minimum and maximum nailing schedules are stamped into the strap providing correct installation information for site operatives.
Install using 3.75 x 30mm square twist nails
Nailing without top wrap: 24 nails / hanger
1 kg square twist nails installs 14 hangers
Nailing with top wrap: 16 nails / hanger
