    Barrel Strainers are a specialist product used to strain fencing line wire. 8mm (thread diameter) X 110mm (barrel length). To strain the wire: first wind the central barrel anti-clockwise until the hook and the eye are fully extended. Attached the hook of the strainer to an eye bolt (attached to a fence post), then attach the wire you want to strain to the eye of the barrel strainer. Wind the central barrel of the strainer clockwise to tension the wire. When complete, the strainer remains in situ and can be re -tightened if the wire loses tension.
